Part of Brittany wakes up to snow this Sunday [Photos] – Brittany

It was expected: snow fell in Brittany overnight from Saturday to Sunday. But not all of the territory wakes up this Sunday morning with the ground covered in a white coat. According to the first observations on the ground, it is especially in Morbihan and Ille-et-Vilaine that the snow seems to have fallen during the night.

Snow in Morbihan and Ille-et-Vilaine

In Morbihan, this is particularly the case in Missiriac, near Ploërmel.

In Ille-et-Vilaine, snow covers the ground in Redon and near Paimpont.

Each time, the snow seems to have fallen more inland.

Snowfall was also reported in Loire-Atlantique.

New falls this afternoon

This afternoon, a disturbance should sink in the region, enough to cause new snow showers “in the interior” of Brittany, according to Météo Bretagne.

If all Bretons did not wake up with snow this morning, the ice is very present almost everywhere on the territory. Be careful on the roads: the authorities announce difficult traffic on several road sections.
