North Carolina parent Brian Echevarria addressed the dangers of indoctrination in schools Thursday night on “The Ingraham Angle,” saying parents are “the most powerful and self-serving group of people in the country.” .
BRIAN ECHEVARRIA: I’m a business owner, I’m a financial advisor. I have these beautiful children and in America we have all the opportunities. I’ve actually traveled to 26 different countries, and so when I say America is the best place on Earth and there’s no other country in the world where minorities have it better, where minorities have the same thing – because there’s nothing I’m not allowed to do, and I pass that on to my children. You know, my parents, they’re 25 and 30 year old military veterans, and all they shared with me was that I can do whatever I want. And that’s true for every child in America. Obviously we have people who have financial problems and all that, but that’s America. We can get the dream.
I had wonderful parents. The point is family. Every policy in America touches the family… And you talking about critical race theory and telling my grandkids that they can or can’t do something based on the color of their skin. We have a cafe. My kids see white people, black people, Hispanic people, Asian people, everyone comes to interact and be together and live together… And someone is trying to persuade them that the life they’re actually living isn’t real, that ‘they are oppressed and that this group of people is inherently evil. The problem I have with that is being biracial…look, everyone in my family loves me and they’re white, black, everything…blonde, blue eyes, everything. This is the story that this great country has set up. The best social experiment in history is in full swing. America is doing wonderfully well.
