One dead, 15 injured in Russian strike on Ukrainian clinic in Dnipro

Children are among the injured after a missile hit a clinic in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro.
At least one person was killed and 15 others injured in a Russian strike that hit a clinic in Dnipro, a major city in eastern Ukraine, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“Missile strike against a clinic in the city of Dnipro. One person was killed and fifteen injured,” Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram, posting a video showing heavily damaged buildings topped with plumes of black smoke.
At least two children were among the injured and are now in hospital, Dnipro regional governor Serhi Lysak said. on Telegram.
“The buildings of a psychological clinic and a veterinary clinic in the city of Dnipro have been destroyed,” Zelenskyy said in his tweet.
The video shows a partially destroyed building, with most of its roof appearing badly damaged. Rescuers are on site.
Zelenskyy has denounced the attack as a crime against humanity while Russia repeatedly denies accusations that its soldiers committed war crimes in Ukraine.
Russia did not comment on the reported airstrikes, but said Ukraine struck two regions in southern Russia with a rocket and a drone.
