Talks between Israel and Hamas aimed at handing over hostages held in Gaza in exchange for a pause in fighting have stalled, the White House said Sunday, as Israeli forces intensify their attacks and order Palestinians to enclave to move towards a narrower strip of land.
“The negotiations are stopped. That said, what hasn’t stopped is our own involvement, to try to get them back on track… We would like to see that happen today,” said the spokesperson for the National Security Council of the White House. John Kirby told NBC. He criticized Hamas for not providing a new list of civilian women and children to be released.
