A tense confrontation between Florida authorities and an armed suspect became even more dangerous over the weekend when a 28-year-old naked woman suddenly entered the crime scene with a golf cart, reports said.

The woman, identified as Jessica Smith, of Boston, had “a distinct smell of alcoholic beverage coming from her person, and she was completely naked,” according to an affidavit from the incident, according to FOX 13 of Tampa Bay.

At the time, Dunedin Police had parked several vehicles from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office around the crime scene, the station reported. Smith allegedly passed law enforcement vehicles and drove into the area where authorities were confronting an 18-year-old armed suspect in what turned out to be a six-hour standoff, according to the report.

Smith allegedly ignored officers’ requests to leave the area and then refused to exit the golf cart when officers approached to stop him. Sheriff’s deputies then pulled her from the cart and handcuffed her, according to the report.

“The actions of the accused and his failure to follow instructions put several MPs in danger of being shot,” investigators wrote in the affidavit, according to FOX 13.

Authorities said Smith had no connection to the armed suspect, WFLA-TV of Tampa reported. Smith was accused of resisting an officer without violence, according to the report.

The armed suspect has been identified as Myles Abbott. He allegedly shot locals, fled deputies who responded and climbed onto the roof of the house where the stalemate occurred, FOX 13 reported.

Abbott has been charged with loitering and prowling, aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, weapons charges and non-violent resistance to an officer, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

He was also facing an arrest warrant for homicide and driving, the statement said.

Abbott was first spotted along with two other suspects who were later arrested, according to the sheriff’s office. The suspects have been identified as Ki’moni Anderson, 18, and a 16-year-old, according to a statement from the Sheriff’s Office.

Anderson has been charged with firearm theft, carrying a concealed firearm and felon in possession of a firearm, the statement said.

The minor also faced weapons charges, the statement said.
