FURIOUS neighbors attacked an animal lover who let her cats take over their street – and turned her into a giant smelly litter box.
Rampant residents of Newcastle, Australia claim the cats broke into their homes and stole their food, and complain the stench of cat urine and feces is overpowering.

Neighbors said they had lost count of the number of cats owned by the owner, but said they constantly saw the animals roaming the streets and hanging around their gardens.
A Hunter Street neighbor told A Current Affair: “We live like this 24/7. It’s got to stop.”
Another concerned resident said: ‘The smell, go out the back and smell the driveway…it’s just terrible and it’s not feeding them.’
And the situation escalates at night when cats roam the streets and wreak havoc in neighboring gardens.

Locals claim pets leave feces all over their outdoor furniture.
“It’s disgusting, the smell is still there… I prayed for rain because it will wash away,” said a neighbor.
Other residents said the cats would enter the house if any doors or windows were left ajar.
Another added: “I know some neighbors have had cats lambing under their houses.”
According to reports, frustrated neighbors have complained to Newcastle City Council about the ongoing problem.
But the council said it would not deal with the cat problem.
A message on their website read, “We will no longer process this type of request.”
Meanwhile, a pensioner has become furious after his neighbor erected a 6ft high fence between their gardens.
Peter Laver, 73, returned from a weekend trip to find neighbor Nicholas Williams had set up the structure.
And a man has said he was homeless because the council only offered him a flat that doesn’t allow pets after rowing with his neighbours.
Jeff Reeves and his three beloved dogs – Saxon, JC and Roxy – were thrown onto the streets two months ago when he refused to give them up.
