Molly McCann has admitted she had to block talkSPORT ahead of her UFC London fight due to Simon Jordan’s ‘uneducated approach to sport’.
At the event, Meatball Molly scored a brutal knockout of the year and one of the most devastating knockouts in UFC women’s history.
She put on a show for local audiences with an elbow twisting back to put Luana Carolina to sleep.
But McCann was so enraged by what talkSPORT host Jordan said before the fight that she blocked our social media channels to avoid his comments.
The former Crystal Palace owner was joined in the studio by UFC hall of famer Michael Bisping ahead of the event.
Jordan challenged the aggressiveness and brutality of MMA, and Bisping was more than happy to defend his sport and did so in a fantastic way.
The former middleweight champion has won plenty of praise for putting Jordan firmly in his place.
And McCann also had an impressive response to the talkSPORT host.

“I had to block talkSPORT during fight week,” she explained on talkSPORT Breakfast. “I blocked Twitter and Instagram simply because the words used by Simon Jordan are an uneducated approach to talking about a sport.
” I could not believe it. We don’t play one Olympic sport, we play six.
“Imagine training for six Olympic disciplines and then having to do all the media we have to do and promote the show.
“He’s a real conservative and I can imagine he hates us all. I can’t wait to see him.
“I hope he watched this and really changed his mind.
“I’m going to get an Uber down now and give it a Chinese burn!”
The UFC star added: “He [Bisping] schooled him.
She also took Jordan to task over his claims about the demographic that attends MMA events.
McCann added: “Can I just say, the demographic that watched me and Patrick [Pimblett], there were children aged five, six and seven. Nan and grandpas there.
“There wasn’t a single kickoff in the crowd. I go boxing all the time, but there’s normally a rowdy crowd at the end.
“I thought this man had no idea what he was talking about.
“I get that he talks about brutal knockouts and he’s probably not going to like mine.
“If you watch the whole event from start to finish you can see the pride of the crowd, it was like the Saturday night craziness at the 2012 Olympics, that’s what it looked like.
“We all did it that night and we all got a finish.”
Jordan had the chance to offer his answer to the British UFC star and didn’t back down on his assessment.
“I’m sure there’s a lot of skill in that – but I’m sure there’s a lot of skill in colonic irrigation and I don’t want to learn that trade either,” he said. he stated on White and Jordan.
“But look, I didn’t make fun of the sport, I said it wasn’t for me. Do I like something because they like it?
“I said I don’t like it, it’s brutal. I enjoy the variety of different skills, but the brutality of this sport, of course, it’s brutal.
“Molly and her sport, hats off, good luck to them and I respect their sport, it’s just not for me. I don’t like people rolling on the ground, I like my combat sports to be like boxing.
“If Molly thinks my opinion somehow diminishes her sport, then I think she’s exaggerating my importance.
“If someone doesn’t like something, that doesn’t mean your sport isn’t liked by those who like it.”
Fortunately, she follows us again, although we have to thank Laura Woods, the breakfast host, for that!
McCann then tweeted: “@talkSPORT you are now unblocked because of @laura_woodsy.”
Woods replied, “Bonus coming in @talkSPORT,” accompanied by crying laughter, prayers and love emojis.
