Martin Short’s Scrooge Gets Messy and Causes Mass Mayhem on ‘SNL’

Short’s Scrooge attempted to throw coins at the boy for the goose, but the two ended up punching the boy in the eye.

“This crazy old man is whipping coins into the eyes of orphans,” shouted an angry local played by Mikey Day.

“SNL” co-host Steve Martin, who plays the Ghost of Christmas Present, later tries to check on Scrooge but is shocked by what he sees on the streets below his home.
