Marshal who mocked LeBron James in viral TikTok video is fired for policy violations

An Idaho deputy marshal who was noticed in a viral TikTok video clip mocking LeBron James’ now-deleted tweet about Ma’Khia Bryant’s loss of life was fired for unrelated coverage violations.

The marshal, Nate Silvester, was terminated from the Bellevue Marshal’s Business office productive Thursday, Mayor Ned Burns reported in a Facebook post. The firing was not owing to Silvester’s social media posts.

“Through the 7 days of May well 20th, even though on change Deputy Marshal Silvester violated quite a few clearly set up Town of Bellevue and State of Idaho Policing guidelines. Silvester says that James won’t make “a whole large amount of sense,” but “then all over again you are genuinely good at basketball so I guess I will get your word for it.”

The video clip was in response to James tweeting a image that appeared to display the officer involved in the taking pictures of Bryant with the caption: “You happen to be Upcoming #ACCOUNTABILITY.”

Bryant was killed in April by a Columbus, Ohio, law enforcement officer responding to a get in touch with about somebody armed with a knife. Police reported that the weapon was located around Bryant’s system.

James later on deleted his tweet, declaring he took it down because it was “becoming applied to create extra despise.”

The Bellevue Marshal’s Business office responded to Silvester’s online video indicating in an April 27 Facebook submit that “the statements made do NOT stand for the Bellevue Marshal’s Business.”
