Manchester United transfer rumours: Sheikh Jassim’s plan revealed; new midfield gem; Mason Mount Bidding War

Harry Kane and Mason Mount are just two of the names floating around Old Trafford for a big addition, with a striker certainly seen as high on Erik ten Hag’s wishlist.
Here is your latest update from Man Utd transfer news and rumors…
Harry Kane
Ten Hag’s desire for a new striker has seen Tottenham’s Kane move ahead of Victor Osimhen in United’s wishlist, according to Sky Sports. Mount and Declan Rice are named as their other two main targets.
The Napoli striker would cost around £130million which is not far off Kane’s potential price should he decide to stop Spurs.
Helping the Red Devils in the event of a potential takeover of the club by Sheikh Jassim is a claim in The Sun that the Qatari would scrap a supposed ‘Cristiano Ronaldo rule’ involving the salary structure.
Since Ronaldo’s exit and his salary of around £450,000 a week, a cap of around £200,000 a week would have been in place. Should Jassim succeed in his bid to buy United, that virtue would be a thing of the past.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Chelsea are hoping to start a bidding war for Mount between Arsenal and United.
Bayern Munich and Liverpool are also in the mix for the midfielder, who has one year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge – but is yet to fully impress United legend Paul Scholes.
“Listen, I love Mason Mount…is he doing enough?” Scholes told Premier League Productions.
“I expected him to score goals, a lot more goals, in big games, to win you games, he didn’t really take off from there. I think a club change might not be a bad thing for him.

Belgian teenager Vermeeren has appeared on Barcelona’s radar following interest from Man United.
According to Spanish outlet Jijantes, via Sport, the 18-year-old Royal Antwerp talent is wanted as Sergio Busquets’ long-term successor at Camp Nou.
Yet United have reportedly already opened talks over a deal at the request of manager Ten Hag. Vermeeren is valued at around £7m.
