The club’s media manager explains why he has remained silent on issues relating to the league champions.
Simba’s chief information officer Haji Manara said he would remain at the club to continue his duties despite reports that he had been suspended by his bosses.
It was recently reported that Manara had been suspended from Simba, prompting him not to discuss the team’s issues.
However, Manara has now come out to clarify that he took a break from discussing the club’s issues because executives gave him a break after his recent marriage.
Thanks to his “target =” _ blank “> Instagram page, Manara said, “The size of my name makes me feel better, my fame hurts others.
“I never wanted to be here, but I believe my work attracted a lot of people and God decided to promote me.
“Please Simba fans I will continue to be your spokesperson until my supply runs out,” [it will not happen for any of us to remain forever whether by death or otherwise].
“Tell those who wrote the rumors of my leaving, that I am very familiar with public communication issues and have a lot of experience in this area and have become resistant to the challenges of work.
“I’m not ready to leave Simba, who am I to leave anyway?”
His statement comes a day after the club suspended reliable midfielder Jonas Mkude on disciplinary grounds.
Wekundu wa Msimbazi did not specifically report the allegations against the Tanzania international but promised to render a fair decision on the matter soon.
“We regret to inform our members and fans, it has always been the best for us at Simba Sports Club that Jonas Mkude has been temporarily suspended,” Simba said in a statement obtained by Goal.
“Mkude has been forced to step down for a number of reasons which include a number of disciplinary issues he has been involved in.
“Simba SC was forced to make this decision because as a club we do not tolerate issues of indiscipline in any way. We believe that discipline is the cornerstone of all development in the world of football. “
Simba is preparing to face promoted Ihefu FC on Wednesday.
