Man Utd injury update: Christian Eriksen, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford return dates and latest news

Manchester United must now fight to retain their place in the top four after the international break.
While Erik ten Hag won a trophy in his first season in charge, not bringing his team back to the Champions League would be a big disappointment.
United currently sit in third place but lead fifth-placed Newcastle by just three points and travel to St James’ Park when domestic football resumes in early April.
Battling on multiple fronts this season, it feels like United are running on empty at the moment and perhaps the break comes at the right time.
Ten Hag has a number of players missing through injury, but could start bringing back key members of his squad for the break-in.
With that in mind, here’s a look at Manchester United’s latest injuries.
Christian Erikson
So important to ten Hag’s side this season, Christian Eriksen hasn’t played since suffering an ankle injury in January.
Ten Hag, however, recently suggested the Denmark international is on track to make a comeback at some point next month.
Potential return date: April 2023
Marcus Rashford
In-form striker Marcus Rashford suffered a knock in the dramatic FA Cup win over Fulham on Sunday and was duly forced out of the England squad for games against Ukraine and Italy this this month.

Anthony Marital has endured a frustrating campaign on the injury front. Limited to just six Premier League starts, the Frenchman has at least returned to training recently after a recent hip injury.
Potential return date: April 2023
Scott McTominay
Scott McTominay missed the Europa League second leg win over Real Betis through injury, although the nature of the injury has not been revealed. Still, the 26-year-old is expected to return after the international break.
Potential return date: April 2023
Alejandro Garnacho
Enjoying a promising season at Old Trafford, Alejandro Garnacho was recently sidelined for several weeks with an ankle ligament injury.
Spotted on crutches last week, the 18-year-old shouldn’t be rushed back.
