Man accused of assaulting former UK health secretary Matt Hancock – POLITICO

A man has been charged with assaulting former UK health secretary Matt Hancock on the London Underground and is due in court next month.
Geza Tarjanyi, 61, from Leyland in Lancashire, has been charged with common assault and two public order offenses in connection with a man who was assaulted and harassed at Westminster Tube station on Tuesday, police said transport company in a press release published on Thursday.
Tarjanyi was released on bail to appear in Westminster Magistrates’ Court on February 22, the statement said.
Several media are reporting that the man attacked and harassed is former British Health Secretary Matt Hancock. He is not believed to have been injured in the incident.
