Maine police respond to man with severed arm severed near shoulder: report

A Maine man suffered a horrific injury on Friday after he somehow lost one of his arms at his shoulder and then stumbled into the street carrying the severed limb, according to reports.
The man has not been identified. Mary Ann Brenchick, the director of Lewiston Public Works, told the Sun Journal she believed in ‘divine intervention’ because two arborists trained in tying tourniquets were among the first to help the dazed man who was seen with the arm around 9 years old. am on Maple Street in the city.
Lewiston Public Works workers were credited for their quick actions and possibly saving the man’s life.

The scene was disturbing. The injured man is said to have left a trail of blood behind him.
“Couldn’t have been better guys for this kind of situation,” Brenchick told the newspaper. “I really hope it made a difference for this guy.”

It’s unclear whether surgeons were able to reattach his arm, but the man is expected to survive.
