The Spaniard’s methods are clearly working well as his side beat Costa Rica 7-0 in their first group game.
In order to engage with fans during the tournament, Enrique chatted on the Twitch streaming platform.
When the topic turned to his players’ sexual habits, the former Barcelona boss said: “It’s something that I consider completely normal.
“I mean, if you’re at an orgy the day before a game, it’s not ideal. But hey.”
Enrique, who at 52 remains ultimately himself, even went so far as to talk about his own habits.
He added: “I consider sex important and as a player whenever I could, with my wife, I did what we had to do.”
His daughter, Sira Martinez, is dating star forward Ferran Torres.
The former Manchester City ace netted twice against Costa Rica, dedicating his goals to Sira.
