The mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee was outraged after bragging about attending a “Drag Queen Christmas” show on Thursday night.

Democratic Mayor Indya Kincannon shared a photo of herself in the audience on Facebook with the caption, “So happy to be at ‘A Drag Queen Christmas’ with so many happy people from Knoxville! It’s going to be a festive night! # knoxvilleforall.”

The Libs of Tik Tok tweet racked up over 1400 retweets and over 900 comments within an hour. Several users expressed their disgust that children were allowed to watch this show, calling it “crazy” and “fake”.

The mayor’s website has an “LGBTQ+Equality” page and lists an “LGBT liaison” that

The mayor’s office did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

The drag show has toured several major cities and will make stops in South Carolina and Florida before the end of the year.

Freelance journalist Tayler Hansen appeared on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Monday to talk about how he was temporarily banned from his Twitter account for lambasting the “obviously sexualized show” as “grooming” children.

He shared photos and a video where he said performers were faking sex, dancing suggestively and making sexual gestures to the audience and a group of around 20 children.
