MOVE ON Kim, fans say there’s a new Kardashian sister carrying on the legacy of Marilyn Monroe.
Kim’s younger sister Khloe shared a video on TikTok of herself getting glam ahead of her big 38th birthday party, and fans and followers expressed how the blonde reality star looks like the 60s icon.
In the video, a team of makeup artists and hairstylists put the finishing touches on Khloe’s birthday look.
The model looked up and around, as stylists worked on her hair and face.
In the comments section, fans said that even though Kim got to wear her dress, Khloe was Marilyn’s true clone.
“You look better in that Marilyn dress,” one person commented. “Carry on with your bad self.”
A second followed up with, “You’re giving Marilyn Monroe lowkey,” while a third immediately added, “Marilyn vibes and I love it.”
While one fan said bluntly, “Kim who?”
Kim and Khloé aren’t the only Kardashians to be compared to Marilyn.
In May, Kylie Jenner received praise for her portrayal of the star during a photoshoot, as she stunned the legend’s signature blonde hairdo and red lip for the shoot.
Photos have surfaced showing the 24-year-old posing in a form-fitting lavender dress that mimics Marilyn’s sultry 1950s wardrobe.
The number was outfitted with a giant bow on the back, a pair of matching long gloves, and showy diamond jewelry.
Kylie played the role of the blonde-haired singer perfectly, copying many of Marilyn’s famous positions and sexy looks.
Some snaps even showed the reality star surrounded by eligible bachelors flattering her with cut-out red hearts, showing off the late star’s sought-after good looks.
PICK UP A DRESS
Meanwhile, Kim, 41, is still being slammed by fans who say she ruined Marilyn Monroe’s famous ‘Happy Birthday’ dress, which the reality TV star wore to the Met Gala.
The dress was originally worn by the star of Some Like it Hot in 1962, to serenade President Kennedy during his 45th birthday celebration.
When Kim wore it 60 years later, fans blamed her for damaging and tearing the historic object.
But Ripley’s has come to the TV star’s defence, ending rumors she ‘destroyed’ the national treasure.
The reality TV star didn’t damage the dress, according to Amanda Joiner, Ripley’s vice president of publishing and licensing.
In a post on Ripley’s official website, she shut down rumors that Kim “destroyed” Marilyn’s signature garment.
Amanda, who was with Kim all day at the Met Gala, said: “From the bottom of the steps at the Met, where Kim entered the dress, to the top where it was returned, the dress was in the same condition as it was. she started in .”
The article also discussed shocking before and after photos that were circulating on social media and showed damage to the dress.
It turns out that the item of clothing was already a bit more worn when the museum acquired it in 2016.
