Last year’s winner Guardiola is aiming to clinch his fourth award in five seasons as City seek four more points that would guarantee them the Premier League title.

Klopp guided Liverpool to the title cusp after a fantastic second half of the season.

The Reds have lost the fewest games this season (2) and have scored no less than 89 goals.

Other nominees for the award include Newcastle United’s Eddie Howe, who only took charge of St James’ Park in November after the club was taken over by the Saudis.

Howe pulled the Magpies away from the brink of relegation to a comfortable 14th place with a first half within reach.

Newcastle had recorded just five points when Howe took charge of the club now with 43 points after a staggering turnover.

They will become the first ever Premier League club to beat the drop after recording no wins in their first 14 matches.

Thomas Frank’s side have enjoyed a solid first season in the Premier League

Brentford manager Thomas Frank is also part of the award after a fantastic first season in the Premier League.

Frank has comfortably secured top-tier status for the Bees and could still finish in the top half of the table if they win their last two games.

Patrick Vieira was also nominated after a solid first season in charge of Crystal Palace – which included an appearance in the FA Cup semi-finals.

Patrick Vieira has led Crystal Palace to a respectable position in the league this term

Eyebrows were raised when the former Arsenal captain was appointed last summer, but so far he has led the Eagles to a very respectable 11th place and the chance to climb higher in the last two matches.

Notable names such as Mikel Arteta and David Moyes have been overlooked for the award despite excellent campaigns with Arsenal and West Ham respectively.

Fans have until 6 p.m. on Monday May 16 to vote for the Manager of the Season, with votes from the public and a panel of experts deciding this year’s winner.
