Jordan Klepper visited Donald Trump’s rally in Iowa on Saturday and found supporters who not only believe he won the 2020 election, but the former president is still in office and fully in control of the government American.

And it wasn’t even the strangest discovery the “Daily Show” correspondent made.

“MAGA devotees have expressed their support for the former president in all very normal ways,” he said. “With Confederate flags in Iowa and images of Trump riding a velociraptor with a machine gun.”

Klepper found Trump supporters wearing middle finger T-shirts complaining about lack of civility and respect, QAnon believers with wild conspiracy theories, and a MAGA fan who insisted they didn’t were not part of a sect.

When asked by Klepper which comments from Trump she liked best, she replied, “Whatever he spits out of his mouth, I love it.”

“Not at all a sect,” Klepper sums up:

It was Klepper’s first visit to a Trump rally since the Jan.6 event that led to the insurgency. Or, as he called it, “A day no one will forget – unless you’re a Republican member of Congress.” ”

Klepper made Trump supporters and conspiracy theorists recurrent, visiting an anti-masker rally last month and hosting an anti-vaxxer event in August.

And in the spring, he showed “listeners” to the Arizona partisan effort how easy it is to throw “some bullshit I just made up” into the works.
