“Which means he will spend the next three years pretending he won the case,” Kimmel observed.

But Kimmel said there was a sure sign the ex-president was getting more and more nervous as the days progressed.

“Trump is all caps in his pants right now,” he said, referring to Trump’s all-caps rage posts on his Truth Social website.

Trump was particularly aggressive toward Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney handling the case.

“I have to say I like the idea that some guy named Bragg could send him to jail,” Kimmel said. “It’s like the thing he loves to do the most could take him up the river.”
