Jamie Carragher couldn’t contain his laughter when Ruben Loftus-Cheek made a joke about Micah Richards’ hairline.
Richards is always eager to evolve his style and boast his punditry duties for CBS Sports Golazo in the Champions League.
Earlier this year the former Man City star revealed he gets his hair cut three times a week and even took his hairdresser to the World Cup for regular trims.
Richards’ hair always remains in immaculate condition, but that didn’t stop Loftus-Cheek from making a joke about it.
After AC Milan’s 2-1 victory against Paris Saint-Germain, the former Chelsea star spoke to the CBS team.
“Your haircut is great, almost as good as mine,” Richards said before Loftus-Cheek responded: “Yeah yeah, I told my hairdresser I wanted the ‘Micah Richards’.”
Richards enthused before the AC Milan midfielder, with a cheeky smile, added: “Because you have to spray your hairline!”
The former Manchester City defender was left speechless and his co-pundit Carragher let out a loud laugh at the cheeky comment.
It’s no surprise that Loftus-Cheek is in good spirits considering how well he played against PSG on Tuesday night.
He was a dominant force in midfield as Milan won their first match in the Champions League ‘Group of Death’ this season.
