Jaguars chain ugly losing streak against Titans behind Trevor Lawrence’s 4 touchdowns

A tumultuous week for the Tennessee Titans only got tougher as the Jacksonville Jaguars snapped an eight-game road losing streak against their AFC South opponent, 36-22.
One of the key game-changing moments for the Jaguars came towards the end of the first half. Titans running back Derrick Henry fumbled on a catch and ran with two minutes left in the half. The play led to a touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence to Zay Jones, who somehow kept his feet in bounds and fired the ball on an angled pass.

Tennessee failed to score in the first or second quarter and only managed to get eight points on the board in the fourth. The Titans fumbled the ball three times, each time leading the Jaguars in points.
Lawrence finished 30 of 42 with 368 passing yards and three touchdowns. He also had a touchdown on the ground. Two of the three touchdown passes went to tight end Evan Engram. The other went to Jones. Engram led the Jaguars with 11 catches for 162 yards and Jones finished with eight catches for 77 yards.

The Titans had two touchdowns in their first three practices. The first came on a 3-yard scamper from Derrick Henry and the second was a touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill to Chigoziem Okonkwo. But the first quarter scoring ended abruptly and Tannehill did not find the end zone until the fourth quarter when he joined Nick Westbrook-Ikhine on a 2-yard score.
Tannehill finished 25 for 38 with 254 passing yards and both scores. He had one interception and was sacked four times. Henry had over 100 yards rushing in the first quarter but managed to rack up 121 yards with the touchdown.
Austin Hooper led the Titans with five catches for 68 yards. Robert Woods added five catches for 49 yards.
The loss ends a tough week for Tennessee. The organization parted ways with general manager Jon Robinson following the team’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week. The team is on a three game losing streak.
