Seven French are detained in Iran, most are accused of espionage or attacking state security. Some are in mortal danger, due to their fragile health and the conditions of their detention. Who are they ? What are they risking? We talk about it with Béatrice Hibou, research director at the CNRS and member of the support committee for Fariba Adelkhah. The latter was arrested in Iran in June 2019, accused of espionage, imprisoned for more than a year, then released with an electronic bracelet. She is again incarcerated in Evin prison on January 12, 2022.
