In Meslan, a collision leaves one dead and one seriously injured, an open investigation – Meslan

Around 5:10 a.m. this Saturday, a terrible collision involving two vehicles occurred on the departmental road D782, near the place called Bihilic, in the town of Meslan (56).

According to initial findings, a motorist swerved into the left lane for an as yet undetermined reason. His car collided with a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.

In the first vehicle was a 57-year-old man, domiciled in Priziac, who did not survive the shock. The driver of the other vehicle, a 40-year-old woman living in Faouët, was seriously injured. A 12-year-old boy, passenger of the second vehicle, is more slightly affected. Both were taken to hospital in Lorient.

The gendarmerie has opened an investigation to determine the causes of this tragic loss of control.
