In Carhaix, a temporary solution found for maternity – Bretagne

The possibility of a closure of the Carhaix maternity hospital on April 3, due to the entry into application of the Rist law, would no longer be relevant, according to the direction of the CHRU of Brest-Carhaix. “We have been working for many weeks on the application of the cap on temporary workers, and discussions are daily on this subject, assures Julie Cottenceau, manager of the Carhaix site. We had individual discussions with all the anesthesiologists who could work on the site, and we arrived at a complete schedule, at the level of anesthesia, until April 30”.

The director adds that “as far as the month of May is concerned, there are only three days left to cover”.

The director of the Brest-Carhaix CHRU, Françoise Favrel-Feuillade, was also on the Carhaisien site, this Friday morning, to discuss this with the teams. In particular, she met a group of pregnant women, in order to reassure them.
