I’m a Christmas shopper – I have a major customer service complaint with people calling me Karen but I don’t care

A TIKTOKER revealed his major bugbear with Christmas shopping this year and claimed there was a lack of proper customer service.
Self-proclaimed shopaholic Victoria Shaw, who reviews fashion and makeup on TikTok, said she was not greeted when she walked into stores this holiday season.

She expressed her outrage at what she calls “poor customer service” in a new video.
“No one who works in stores says hello anymore,” she said.
“In almost 90% of the stores I went to yesterday, the person working didn’t even say hello.”
She explained that she worked in the service industry – greeting people became an involuntary act when she was on the other side of retail.

She expressed particular dismay with some shoe store employees who did not end the collegiate conversation when she was clearly seeking help.
“I just wanna try on this fucking shoe,” she said in the video.
She offers her own take on what can go wrong in retail.
“Have we lost it? Has COVID changed us? Or are the people hiring just not trained, right? she asked.
The TikToker has also been called “Karen” in caption hashtags.
Many commenters were also upset with how they were treated this holiday shopping season.
“Yes I noticed that too!!” said a follower.
Another replied: “I was out with my son a husband and literally stood there for 10 minutes with a kids snow boot in my hand waiting to get a size and there were two people standing there who were talking to each other without doing anything, I had to walk towards them even though they looked at me twice.”
Shaw posted another video reviewing her Louis Vuitton belt the same day.
