Luckily, a professional bra fitter named Nicola Crook took to TikTok to reveal the super simple method anyone can use to find their correct bra size at home.
In the video, she can be seen holding an unpadded bra and beginning, “When it comes to measuring bra size, you can measure a top like this, or something like this ideally…never something like that, which is molded style.”
She continues, “You’re going to take two measurements – the first measurement you want to take is around your rib cage, just under your bust.”
So my measurement here is 29 inches – and then you want to take the measurement around the fullest part of your bust.”
You might need someone to help you with that – and mine is 35.”

She goes on to explain that once you have those two measurements, you subtract the 35 from the 29, which gives you 6 inches.
“So to determine cup size – I’ll put a chart below – but it’s A, B, C, D, DD, E or DDD if you’re from the US,” she continues.
“So I would start with a 30DDD or an E and see how they fit in and how it works from there.”
