A TATTOO fan who set the record for squarest on his body claims he has more inking INSIDE his body than anyone else in the world.
Matt Gone from the USA started his ink journey in 1986 and spent £173,000 on 843 tattoos.
As the so-called “first experimenter,” the tattoo fanatic did much of the inking himself.
He has most of his mouth tattooed, including his tongue, gums, cheeks and tonsils – and even his throat.
Her eyeballs were inked in blue, green, magenta, and gold, with a total of eight colors used in her eyes.
And elsewhere, he even got his most private parts tattooed.
He told The Sun Online: “I have more tattoos inside my body than anyone else, but it’s too dangerous to be a Guinness World Record.
“I tattooed my entire genital area, my anus, my buttocks, the inside of my thighs, my eyes, my tongue, my inside of my throat and lots of little touches all over my body.”
At least 20 years ago, Matt tattooed the inside of his urethra through a hole drilled into his penis.
And while undergoing surgery for rare birth defects in his bladder several years later, Matt said the surgeon was “surprised” to find the internal inking.
Matt said reactions to his unique look have gotten better over the years.
He said: “It really depends on what you have tattooed on your face.
“People love the checkerboard pattern. I’ve been all over the world and everyone loves checkerboards.
“It’s better these days. In 1998, I got a tattoo all over my head and neck down to my jawline and it shocked people.
“My eyes shock people, but the tongue tattoo shocks people the most. It’s a top notch tattoo.”
His 25-year project to cover himself in tattoos has cost him over £173,000 – and he’s set to get a hip and bum makeover soon.
Earlier this year, two doctors counted the inks on Matt’s body before he was awarded the Guinness World Record for squarest tattoos.
He revealed his nose was the most painful to have done – and left him sneezing in black ink.
He said: “The most painful place on the body to get a tattoo?
“The nose. It’s the most painful, even the baby’s toes, the nails hurt a lot.
“I sneezed black ink for about 20 minutes after that and it was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced.”
But getting eyelid tattoos was also painful, “even under anesthesia.”
“I get the inside of my eyelid tattooed; people usually only tattoo up to the lash line,” he added.
Matt claims to have “modernized the technique” of tongue tattoos when he did it in 2010.
“My tongue is tattooed, but it was hypodermic injections,” he said.
“He’s more tattooed than any other person in history and is tattooed all the way down here in my throat.”
But he warned: “Don’t do this at home, there is no professional who can do this.”
