Ex-Red Devils defender wants to see deal done for Borussia Dortmund winger, but is now tired of waiting
Gary Neville is among those who tire of the endless rumors of Jadon Sancho at Manchester United, with the Red Devils legend admitting he “has never been so bothered by a transfer in my life”.
The Old Trafford icon is eager to see a deal made with Borussia Dortmund that allows the England international winger to return to his homeland.
This deal has been in the works for over a year now, however, and a long saga is starting to annoy those who watch from afar.
What was said?
Neville posted on social media amid renewed discussions that a big deal was about to be struck: “Manchester United are getting closer to Sancho.
“A transfer should be a joy and a moment of excitement. I have never been so bored with a transfer in my life to the point that I feel like he has already signed and I want to know who already is. next one. It’s not the boy’s fault for all I have to say! “
How much will Sancho cost?
They already have seen a £ 67million ($ 95million) bid rejected this summer, with Dortmund refusing to fold under intense pressure.
Personal conditions have been agreed, but reaching a deal between two European heavyweights is proving tricky.
Sancho is however currently left on duty Euro 2020 with England, therefore has more pressing concerns right now than where he will play his club football in 2021-2022.
However, a deal could be struck at some point, with United making the 21-year-old a prime target.
The bigger picture
United are so keen to secure a completed transfer that Sancho has played for Dortmund since leaving Manchester City for Germany in 2017.
He has scored 50 goals and provided 64 assists in 137 games, Marking him as one of the most productive creative strikers in world football.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager to purchase this ability, with the Red Devils looking to further strengthen their attacking ranks.
Mason Greenwood has often lined up to the right of their front line, but the 19-year-old academy graduate is expected to become a center forward at some point.
