UFC champion Israel Adesanya is back in action this weekend to defend his belt against Sean Strickland in Sydney.
The middleweight star claimed his title earlier this year by beating Brazilian Alex Pereira.

The 34-year-old boasts an impressive 24-2-0 record, and he’ll be looking to build on that momentum this weekend.
But Strickland is not a face and deserved a chance at this belt by sending Nassourdine Imanov and Abus Magomedov in quick succession.
Sure, it’ll be a tough fight for both men, but we should see some fireworks on the night of UFC 293.

Adesanya vs. Strickland at UFC 293: What Was Said?
Adesanya thinks he will make Strickland look like an easy opponent.
He said: “I know he’s dangerous because anyone in the top five or top ten is dangerous. But I just got into the habit of making dangerous men look easy.
“I’ve made dangerous men look easy before and I’m going to do it again, and he’s not the most dangerous man I’ve fought.
“But he is capable, and a man who has nothing to lose and everything to gain is a dangerous man. So yeah, I’m going to make a dangerous man look easy.”

Meanwhile, Strickland is ready to fight for that middleweight belt.
He said: “It’s weird man, I was signing posters and I was like, ‘Oh shit! I’m fighting for a title on Saturday.’ It’s really weird, but I love it.
“A fight happens in the parking lot, a fight happens in the gym. It’s amazing to get a title shot, but in the end, it’s going to work out.

“It’s going to be a war, I’m not going to blame myself. It just has to be nose to nose, maybe a little wrestling, mix things up. It really has to be a first to fifth war round.
“I don’t think it will be smarter, it will be less smart, maybe I will just have to fight with my spokesman.”
