Hours before his arrest, SBF denied being part of the “Wirefraud” chat group

Just hours before Bahamian police announced his arrest, Sam Bankman-Fried took to Twitter to deny his involvement in or knowledge of a secret group chat named ‘Wirefraud’ – which allegedly involved d ex-FTX and Alameda executives.
In a December 12 reply to a report from the Australian Financial Review (AFR), Bankman-Fried used Twitter to deny involvement or knowledge of a “Wirefraud” group chat on the Signal messaging app, which allegedly included members of the inner circle of Bankman-Fried, including FTX co-founder Zixiao “Gary” Wang, FTX engineer Nishad Singh, and former CEO of Alameda Caroline Ellison.
