Horrific case of sex slave rescued from dog cage in trailer covered in excrement as cops turn in suspects
A SEX slave was rescued from a dog crate in a trailer covered in feces, leading to the arrest of five people, authorities say.
The shocking discovery was made earlier this week in a Richmond County mobile home in Augusta, Georgia.

It happened when a former resident showed up at the mobile home to pick up some of the things he had left there, WRWD-TV reports.
It was then that the woman, declared to be 29 years old by WJBF, in the dog’s crate had asked for the man’s help.
According to an incident report, deputies said: ‘On entering the room he observed an unknown light brown-skinned woman who was naked, badly beaten and currently locked in a dog crate.’
The following five people were ultimately taken into custody after the woman was found: Shana Powell, 32, Anjelika Figueroa, 29, DeMichael Dawson, 24, Savannah Piazzi, 18, and 19- Dawson Weston, a year.
According to deputies, when the former resident found the woman in the cage, Powell informed him, “She stole a bunch of stuff from me so she’s going to be my sex slave and I’m going to pimp her until she pays.”
The unidentified man also told authorities that he “heard a person say that several strangers were on their way to ‘do the right thing with her’.”
Deputies arrived at the scene, on the 2200 block of Nellie Drive, shortly after 10:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Upon arrival, deputies urged those inside the trailer to come out.
Once one person exited, deputies were able to enter the trailer – where they saw the caged woman, as well as a very filthy living environment.
Deputies found that ‘human and animal excrement was in different rooms’.
When the unidentified female victim was located, deputies said in the incident report that she “also appeared hurt and emotionally distraught at the time.”
Authorities found her lying on the bed in one of the bedrooms of the house.
When the woman finally left the room, deputies noticed she had a swollen and bruised eye, as well as other facial injuries, prompting her to be picked up by an ambulance and transported to a nearby hospital.
The three pit handles found inside the trailer were recovered by Animal Control.
Meanwhile, MPs revealed that the five arrested were hit with kidnapping, forcible confinement, aggravated assault and possession of a gun or knife while committing a crime .
In addition to those charges, authorities said Dawson was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
