Tottenham skipper Heung-Min Son equalized for the second time when he hit back just a minute after Bukayo Saka’s penalty..
Arsenal and Spurs went into the tie at 1-1 after Son canceled out Cristian Romero’s own goal.
But the Gunners then had the perfect opportunity to go back in front after Romero was penalized for a handball in the box.
Intervening was Saka, who coolly slotted his penalty into the middle of the goal in the 54th minute.
However, Arsenal’s lead lasted less than a minute as Jorginho, who replaced Declan Rice at half-time, dallied on the ball.
The Brazilian-born Italian international was robbed of possession by James Maddison, who was leading a duel with Son.
As William Saliba looked to close down Maddison, he slipped in Son, who made no mistake to slot into the bottom left corner.
This sparked wild scenes from Spurs players and traveling supporters as the home fans fell into silence.
