Harry Kane BEAT Jimmy Greaves’ all-time goalscoring record as he puts Tottenham ahead over Man City

HARRY KANE is Tottenham’s top scorer after scoring his 267th goal.
The star broke the deadlock with 14 minutes on the clock against Manchester City to break the legendary Jimmy Graves’ long-standing record which has stood for 53 years.

And to make the moment even sweeter, it was also his 200th Premier League goal.
The England captain, 29, is only the third player to achieve a double century since the top flight was restructured in 1992.
Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney is on 208 while Alan Shearer is the top dog with 260.
The magic moment came with Spurs’ first attack in this afternoon’s Premier League showdown in north London.
Midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg intercepted a loose pass just outside City’s penalty area.
He drew in a few defenders before heading straight for Kane, and the hotshot deftly passed Ederson into the bottom corner.
Despite the personal accolades, Kane has yet to taste silverware with Tottenham but has been adamant that he has no plans to move.
Kane, who is about to start the final year of his contract in north London last month: “I’m focused on this season.
“We will always talk about my future, I just want to focus on my work on the pitch.
“There’s a long way to go, a lot of things to play for like the Champions League, the FA Cup and that’s what my focus is on.”
