Hakim Ziyech’s transfer from Chelsea to Paris Saint-Germain could be OFF with deadline documents ‘not registered in time’

Hakim Ziyech’s proposed deadline day transfer from Chelsea to Paris Saint-Germain may not have been registered in time.
The Moroccan winger looked set to leave Stamford Bridge, joining the French giants on loan with no option to buy.
Ziyech seemed ready for Paris
However, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reports that the contracts are invalid with the deadline to register the necessary documents now passed.
Romano adds that the two clubs have been working to find a solution, to allow Ziyech to join his compatriot Achraf Hakimi in Paris.
Ziyech was in high demand after strong performances in Morocco’s run to the World Cup semi-finals, with contenders in Germany, England and Italy.
PSG had won the race, but the move may have failed on the last day of the January window.
The 29-year-old set-piece specialist joined the Blues in 2020 from Ajax for £33m.
A Champions League winner with the club, Ziyech’s minutes have dwindled this season, with 13 appearances to his name, which have seen him bag a goal and an assist.

The winger shone in Qatar
Graham Potter’s side are now stacked when it comes to competing on the wings, with Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke arriving in January from Shakhtar Donetsk and PSV Eindhoven respectively.
The Blues are still hoping to advance their own business, which could see midfielder Enzo Fernandez join Benfica in a record-breaking £115m British deal.
