Three batches of Häagen-Dazs ice cream sold in France are subject to product recalls. These are ice cream sticks and mini-sticks in packs of 6; “multi-pack” ice creams; and “minicups and tubs” ice cream.
The vanilla flavor contained in these ice creams could contain 2-Chloro Ethanol, a potentially toxic ingredient. Please note: even ice creams with a flavor other than vanilla are affected, many of them containing vanilla by default.
Häagen-Dazs indicates that the affected products were put on the shelves between March 8, 2022 and July 29.
It is recommended not to consume the product. Products can be returned to the store, customers will then be reimbursed. The consumer service can be reached at the following green number: 08 00 33 32 31.
