A beachgoer was very seriously injured adhering to a good white shark attack about 20 miles south of San Francisco Saturday, authorities said.
The attack occurred about 9:15 a.m. as a 35-calendar year-outdated guy was in the h2o at Gray Whale Cove State Beach front in San Mateo County, the sheriff’s business tweeted.
He “was treated with innovative life help steps” at the scene, the California Office of Forestry and Fireplace Safety tweeted.
The victim was taken to Stanford Health-related Center’s trauma facility, where he was in severe condition, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office environment and Califire.
Sheriff’s officers explained the shark as measuring 6 to 8 feet.
The beach was subsequently closed.
