Governor Greg Abbott to Speak in Taylor County on Mesquite Heat Fire |  KTA

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Gov. Greg Abbott will be in Abilene on Tuesday to speak about the Mesquite Heat Fire that has burned more than 11,000 acres in southern Taylor County.

Texas Department of Emergency Management Region 5 Deputy Chief Brandi Ashby and Rep. Stan Lambert will join Governor Abbott at Taylor County Municipal Facility No. 1 on Grand Avenue in Abilene for a press conference, which should begin at 3:15 p.m.
