Girl filming her parents frolicking in the snow melts hearts: ‘goals’


A couple married for almost 30 years melted hearts across the internet after their daughter shared a cute clip of the two that quickly went viral on social media.

In the viral video, shared on TikTok on Tuesday, under the username Maartje.willemsen, the couple can be seen playing in the snow, pushing each other into the pile gathered outside their front door and making snow angels as they that they laugh like a pair of teenagers.

The heartwarming message, which quickly gained millions of viewers on the platform, is accompanied by a caption that reads: “My parents after 28 years of marriage.”

In the United States, men and women are marrying later than decades ago. While in 1973 the median age at first marriage was 22.1 years, in 2021 it was around 29 years.

The youngest people getting married nationwide are in Utah, where the state average is 25.8 years in 2021. At the other end, those living in Massachusetts tend to marry much later in life, with the state average being 25.8 years. 31.3 years old.

The video quickly went viral on social media, attracting many viewers on TikTok. It has so far received over 2.3 million views and 515,400 likes on the platform.

Social media user Steph commented: “If it’s not like that I don’t want it.” And Emileg.optic said: “This is exactly why they reached 28 years of marriage.”

Another user, Caroybonito, said: “The twist, the betrayal, the snow dive after all that.” And Ohhaykels joked: “Damn, do you all have parents who love each other?”

While M098765 wrote: “Most people could only dream of it. And dbptt added: “My goodness, I’m not asking for much. What a lovely pair.” Teenie said: “Relationship goals. »

And Julianna@Codes wrote: “This made me smile so much because this is something I would do.” And Kristen said: “You know you’ve found love when someone is safe enough to bring out your inner child.”

Another user, Erika Bernadett, commented: “Without this attitude they wouldn’t be able to reach 28 years (of) marriage. It’s easy…”
