Gigi Hadid puts her legal troubles behind her.
Hours after the model’s arrest for possession of marijuana was announced, the model shared a glimpse of her Cayman Islands vacation, writing on Instagram on July 18, “All’s well that ends well.”
The message could be interpreted as Hadid’s response to her recent contact with local authorities. On July 10, after arriving at Owen Roberts International Airport in Grand Cayman for a trip, customs officers allegedly found “ganja and utensils used for ganja consumption” in luggage belonging to Hadid and her friend, reported Cayman Marl Road.
According to the outlet, the 28-year-old woman and her friend were then arrested on “suspicion of importing ganja and importing utensils used for ganja consumption” and taken to the prisoner detention center, where they were later released on bail.
“Gigi was traveling with marijuana purchased legally in New York City with a medical license,” her rep told E! News. “It has also been legal for medical use on Grand Cayman since 2017. Her case remains clear and she has enjoyed the rest of her time on the island.”
