Hello from Fulham
Welcome to SunSport’s live coverage of the Premier League clash between Fulham and Liverpool at Craven Cottage.
The Cottagers return to the Premier League after winning last season’s Championship with former Hull, Watford and Everton manager Marco Silva at the helm.
Silva will be without Harry Wilson and Nathaniel Chalobah, who are ruled out with a knee injury and a knock respectively.
The Portuguese tactician will also have to make a belated assessment regarding Joe Bryan, who missed Fulham’s final pre-season friendly against Villarreal with a hand injury.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, meanwhile, is set to welcome Alisson back into his starting line-up following an abdominal injury that sidelined him in last weekend’s Community Shield triumph over Manchester City.
Naby Keita is facing a late assessment following recent illness but could still be part of Klopp’s squad in London.
However, Ibrahima Konate (knee), Curtis Jones (calf), Kostas Tsimikas (knee), Diogo Jota (thigh), Caoimhin Kelleher (groin) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (hamstring) are all ruled out for the Premier League clash of today.
Nonetheless, James Milner could be set to make Reds history as he is in line for his 200th Prem appearance for the club.
Thiago Alcantara, on the other hand, is only one game away from scoring his 50e appearance for the Merseysiders
