A FOURTH teenager has died following a horror accident involving a group of high school students.

Kendarius Jackson, 16, died of injuries sustained in Wednesday afternoon’s crash less than two miles from Eagle’s Landing High School in Henry County, Georgia.

His classmates, Kendarrias Dodson, 16; Katrina Owens 15; and 15-year-old Jordan Brown, all of whom tragically died at the scene.

A fifth student, Zakyra Jones, remains hospitalized with serious injuries.

Henry County police said the car left Oak Grove Road in McDonough and crashed into an embankment, hitting several trees.

The community is planning a vigil for teens Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the high school football stadium.

The tragic news comes just weeks after three University of Oklahoma meteorology students died in an accident while returning home from chasing a storm.

The 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan left the roadway on the right, then returned to the highway and stopped.

He was then hit by a tractor-trailer traveling in the same direction, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

It took Tonkawa Fire Department officials and paramedics nearly five and a half hours to remove the victims from the wreckage.

All three were pronounced dead at the scene as heartfelt tributes poured in from friends and family.
