Neighborhood Services Capt. Scott Lee said these types of encounters are “somewhat common” for Neighborhood Services inspectors.

“Unfortunately, these types of negative encounters are quite common for my neighborhood services inspectors,” Lee said. “However, we will not tolerate anyone threatening someone else with death for doing their job. We will respond quickly and appropriately to ensure our employees are protected in the line of duty.”
