DILLIAN WHYTE can’t believe ‘damn weirdo’ Anthony Joshua didn’t throw the sink at Oleksandr Usyk.

The 33-year-old beat AJ in the fans and lost to him in a 2015 pro fight, but backed the 31-year-old to be too big and strong for the former cruiserweight on Saturday as long as he dominated early. . .

But Joshua admitted after the unanimous loss of points that he tried to overtake the southpaw genius.

Whyte claims that’s why he completely took off, despite the 19-pound muscle advantage.

The Body Snatcher told IFL: “I was surprised how the fight went because I thought Joshua would do it in seven rounds because he would impose his size and bulk on Usyk, but he was very reserved and tentative, it was strange.

“Usyk was much more aggressive because Joshua let him, every time Joshua bit him, he would stand in front of him and let go of his hands and Joshua let him do it.

“Joshua was hurting him but backing up, so I was a bit taken aback, it was a weird performance.

“Joshua is a weird guy, he’s a fucking weirdo, I should have been infuriating him.

“After eight rounds he should have felt like he was in the cards and he really started trying, he’s the unified heavyweight champion of the world.”

AJ has demanded an instant rematch that promoter Eddie Hearn believes could happen in February.

But Whyte has warned him to stop trying to be a boxing coach and go back to his big bad bullying habits.

“You need to throw your hands,” he said.

“Joshua’s mindset has to change, he’s in safety first mode lately, he’s fighting weird.

“It’s good that he’s using more athletics and boxing responsibly, but being a big, strong guy is what has worked for him, it has earned him an Olympic gold medal and world titles, so he just needs to go.”

“I wasn’t hungry enough because when things are down and shit is against you, you have to try.

And he didn’t want to try.

“He never tried to finish him off when he hurt him, it was crazy.”

Speaking to Behind the Gloves after the fight, Whyte said: “I don’t give a shit about Usyk. I was never afraid of him. What did he do? He didn’t knock out Joshua, he just got over him.

“I’ll go to war with him, I don’t give a shit about all that.

“He [Joshua] He doesn’t even seem hungry anymore. Perhaps he has lost the dog in it. It happens a few times. “
