FC Lorient. What to remember from the draw in Nice – FC Lorient

The central defender of FC Lorient offered his first goal in Ligue 1 on Sunday. An opportunistic goal, at the conclusion of a confused action. After a corner pushed back, Enzo Le Fée shifted Romain Faivre to the left of the penalty area. The former Brestois centered in extremis set back, low to the ground, for a Bamo Meïté who intelligently beat Dante. His flat foot deceived Kasper Schmeichel. His first goal in Ligue 1, at 21.

The Bretons dominated the first period, facing apathetic Niçois, who did not frame any shots and who were almost never dangerous. But Didier Digard’s players woke up at the break. The Lorientais therefore suffered in the second half. Chephren Thuram’s accelerations often made the difference. The Niçois claimed several penalties. This draw seems logical for FC Lorient which was totally dominated in the second half. This point allows them to move up, at least temporarily, to 8th place, just behind their evening opponents. Nice did not lose again on January 7… This statistic may console the Lorient people.
