Ex-NFL QB Raises Eyebrows With Weird Jameis Winston Tweets


Former NFL star Robert Griffin III made an odd comment on Jameis Winston after the quarterback led the New Orleans Saints to a convincing victory over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Winston threw five touchdown passes in the 38-3 win over the Packers. Griffin, who is currently an ESPN analyst, made a suggestion.

“After beating Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, Jameis Winston is now requesting strategy meetings with the Holy Arms and demanding that 5 Crab Legs, 1 for every touchdown he throws, be placed in his locker every day for consumption since that he ate a W, ”Griffin tweeted, referring to the Winston shoplifting incident in 2014.

He then added that Watson can “demand whatever he wants” after his performance.

Griffin then made another odd comment.

“Can you see how Jameis proves the skeptics wrong and turns out the lights that WHEN he gets paid he will be accused of stealing money that was earned and given to him, just like he did. was accused of stealing crab legs given to him because of his game at FSU? ” he wrote.

The former Washington quarterback admitted he was facing backlash in his Twitter mentions about Winston’s remarks.

Winston was 14 for 20 with 148 yards and a handful of touchdowns. According to the FOX show, Winston had the fewest yards thrown for a quarterback with five or more touchdown passes since 1948. He did it all in a huge win to start the 2021 season.

Juwan Johnson had two of five touchdowns. He finished with three catches for 21 yards. Deonte Harris scored and had two catches for 72 yards. Chris Hogan had a 10-yard touchdown, his only one of the day, and Alvin Kamara had three catches for 8 yards scoring and finished with 83 rushing yards on 20 carries.

Winston was named starting quarterback after defeating Taysom Hill for the job. He hadn’t played the starting role since joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2019.
