Eure: two children die in a house fire, a third seriously injured

Two children died early Saturday morning in a house fire in Selles (Eure) where they were with their family to spend the end-of-year holidays, AFP learned from the Eure prefecture. .
The victims, a girl about 8 years old and a boy about ten years old, had not been able to get out of the burning building and were in cardio-respiratory arrest when the firefighters managed to evacuate them. A third child, also in cardio-respiratory arrest, was revived. The young girl, aged about twelve, was evacuated to a Parisian hospital “in absolute urgency”.
Five adults and two children were able to get out in time
