During an interview on “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Sunday, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez said it would be the “icing on the cake” if Elon Musk moved Twitter to his city, and explained why he thinks that Miami is the “most prosperous city in America.

THE LEFT BOILS AS ELON MUSK CALLS DEMOCRATS ‘THE PARTY OF DIVIDE AND HATE’: ‘TERRIBLE AMERICAN’

FRANCOIS SUAREZ: So the argument is you want to move to the city with the lowest taxes, lowest crime rate. The highest quality of life that embraces success. You know, cities across America are pushing outward – New York kicked out Amazon not too long ago and San Francisco kicked out Elon Musk, we’re a city that’s fundamentally pro-free market. We believe the American Dream is one where people can do whatever they want to do and be successful. It’s not something you should be ashamed of, it’s not something you should, you know, you should run away from or hide from. And so I think that’s one of the things that makes Miami so unique. We have brought in so much capital to scale and grow businesses here. We just think that, you know, Elon’s acquisition of Twitter would be a perfect kind of icing on the cake if he were to move it to Miami, because Miami is the freest city in America, the most prosperous city from America. And I think he brought Twitter here and revolutionized Twitter to make it, you know, a better platform, which would fit well with Miami.
