31 ‘ Benzema tries to make a leap to intercept a header from a Ramos cross, but the ball narrowly slips away from the striker. He looks at the referee after feeling Josema’s contact, but the officials only point for a goal kick.
29 ‘ BLOCK! Victor runs back to cover in the box for the local side. He produces a vital block on the slide to deflect Vazquez’s strike away from the target after the Spaniard is knocked down by Carvajal.
27 ‘ Kroos throws his free kick with the pace, but Josema goes higher in the box and is able to clear to the left inside channel before Mino does the rest.

13 ‘ OUT OF THE BAR! Marcelo arrives a few centimeters to put the visitors ahead. Kroos’ forward pass is thrown by Casemiro on the Brazilian’s path. He hits over the top with his right boot, pulling his effort on Badia. However, he hits the underside of the bar and rebounds clearly.

ten’ RECORD! Rigoni is played in space on the right flank and he cuts Marcelo’s challenge inside. The forward pulls low and hard on his left foot towards the nearest post, forcing Courtois to push the ball away from the post.
seven’ Modric has a space on the right flank and throws a cross in the box. Badia engages and pulls her away from danger.
6 ft Ramos makes another deep pass down the right flank in search of Carvajal, but he simply escapes the Spaniard and leaves for a throw-in.

Elche have lost their last eight La Liga games against Real Madrid, having lost just two of their previous seven against them in the top flight (W2 D3 L2).
Real Madrid also made three changes to their squad tonight following their win over Granada. Mendy falls to the bench as Marcelo returns to the left-back. Modric and Asensio get the nods to start in midfield and the final third respectively. Valverde falls on the bench, while Rodrygo Silva is sidelined with a leg injury.
Elche made three changes to his squad that drew Osasuna last time around. Josema is in the bottom four to replace Dani Calvo, who came out of the starting lineup. Victor and Guti start in the middle of the park instead of Tete and Josan, who also slide to the bench.

Real Madrid must keep the pressure on Atletico Madrid at the top of the table tonight. Los Blancos are shooting all cylinders at the moment and will be desperate to keep the momentum going.
Elche starts the night sitting outside the relegation zone on goal difference in the LaLiga table. Jorge Almiron’s men are winless in their last eight league games, most recently in October.
