Eberechi Eze responds to Liverpool transfer rumors as Crystal Palace star revels in ‘the shape of his life’

berechi Eze has dismissed rumors linking him with a summer move away from Crystal Palace, where he believes he is in the best shape of his life.
Eze has been in scintillating form since Roy Hodgson’s return as Palace manager, scoring six goals and assisting another in his last eight games.
The uncapped Englishman is back on Gareth Southgate’s radar and with his contract still two years to run, the media have named Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle and even Paris Saint-Germain as potential interested parties.
When asked if he was playing the best football of his career, Eze replied: “Yeah probably. I feel like I have the freedom to play, to do my thing. I’m just happy to enjoy of my football.
Responding to rumors linking him with a move, he added: “It doesn’t bother me too much. I just focus on the present.
“I want to keep enjoying it and contributing to the team as much as possible. I’m improving with every game.
Eze, 24, dropped out of Palace’s starting XI towards the end of Patrick Vieira’s reign. He had scored just four times in 27 league appearances when the Frenchman was sacked.
“I found it difficult at times,” he admitted.
“As a team we were going through a tough time so it’s natural to lack confidence. Since Roy came on it has given me the freedom to express myself. Obviously I’ve played for him before so I understand exactly what he wants. It helps.
